1. Almost all schools look at the PAT first. This section is your key to the dental schools.
(One note for those taking KAPLAN Review courses- The PAT PRACTICE problems that comes with the $1300 KAPLAN REVIEW package is not quit the same as the one you get on the REAL DAT). DAT CRACKER is really good at solving that problem so if you want further practice.
2. Your Critical reading section is absolutely crucial for your survival during the first year of any Med/Dent School. READ AS MANY ARTICLES AND JOURNALS AS POSSIBLE RELATED TO YOUR FIELD. And don’t forget to YOUR TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS.
3. Quantitative Reasoning is also important since you will be using your statistical analysis well in any field.
4. And Lastly if the above were satisfying enough, Comes your BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES SECTION or "Total Science".

Sina, as requested, here it goes:
I think this is dependent on the school. Usually, I get the impression that schools look for scores which are good board indicators. For example, RC correlates to how people perform on boards overall. QR correlates to how people perform on Anatomy. I forget the other sections, but Bio and Ochem are important. PAT is important as well, but I am not sure if that would be considered the most important aspect of the DAT.
